Who we are

Local Home Remodeling ("we", "us") is a scheduling and matching service that books free in-home estimates between homeowners in King and Snohomish counties, Washington, and independent contractors. This policy explains what we collect when you use this website, call us or answer our calls and texts, and what we do with it.

What we collect

What you enter in the booking form: your project type, your timeline answer, ZIP code, name and phone number. We also record technical details that come with the request, such as the page you used, the ad or link that brought you here, the date and time, your IP address and browser type, so we can confirm your consent and measure our ads.

How we use it

To contact you about your project, confirm details and schedule your estimate; to match you with one contractor and share the details they need to prepare for the visit; to follow up after the visit; to measure which ads and pages work so we can improve them; and to meet legal obligations. Form answers you do not submit stay in your browser.

Calls and texts

When you submit a request, you ask us and the one contractor we match you with to call you about it at the number you provide, including with automated dialing, prerecorded messages or an AI voice assistant that says it is automated. Texts come only from Local Home Remodeling, and only if you tick the text updates box. We never share your text consent or your number with other companies for their marketing. You do not have to agree to any of this to get an estimate; you can call us instead. Reply STOP to any text, or tell us on a call, and we will stop. Message and data rates may apply.

Who we share it with

The one contractor we book for your estimate; service providers who help us run our phone, scheduling, hosting and analytics systems under confidentiality obligations; advertising platforms such as Google and Microsoft, to measure conversions from their ads; and authorities when the law requires it. We do not sell your personal information and we do not share it with other contractors or lead buyers.

How long we keep it

We keep booking records, including proof of your consent, for as long as we need them to provide the service and to meet legal and record-keeping requirements, then delete or anonymize them.

Your choices

You can ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, or ask us to stop contacting you at any time. We honor do-not-call requests promptly.
